The Bachchans Family at Kaun Banega Crorepati grand finale: Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 4 makers have planned a bigger and a grander episode for the show’s finale.
Imagine the entire Bachchan family on the KBC stage with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan…yes, all for the first time on small screen. Can’t get better than this!
The finale will be aired in the last week of December and along with Abhishek Bachchan and bahu Aishwarya Rai, beti Shweta Bachchan Nanda will also be there joined by ma Jaya Bachchan. The channel officials have confirmed the news that they are indeed planning to do so, but when a tabloid asked whether it’s to beat the rival show Bigg Boss, the channel CEO said, “Yes, we are in advanced negotiations to have the entire Bachchan family on the grand finale of KBC. But our aim is not to beat the Bigg Boss…”
Till now, KBC is doing far better than the other reality shows and is facing tough competition from the Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss.
Sony has also started talks with Big B for another season of KBC.

Yamla Pagla Deewana will be release on January 14, 2011: The 3m 28s theatrical trailer of Yamla Pagla Deewana headlining Dharmender, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol is hilarious stuff.
The Deols are better known for action, but a comic streak has been evident in all their performances.
In Yamla Pagla Deewana they appear to have let out the prankster within them out.
The promo has many ROTFLOL moments. For example, when Dharmender tells Sunny,”Sardar tu khaam kham beech me ghus atta hai yaar” and Sunny shoots at him with a gun, all the while grinning like your friendly milkman in Jullundur who gives you half a liter more milk for no particular reason.
Not to mention, when Sunny tells his American wife, “Main chahata hoon ki hamare bachche India jaa ke apna culture seekhein” and his two boys come running down the stairs; the younger is fleeing from the elder but trips and is cornered. Gleefully the elder kid says, “Teri bhen di…”
There is a lot more, in the film that promises to be a laugh riot.
The film releases in theaters on January 14, 2011.

Break Ke Baad Movie Ready to release on November 26, 2010: The Break Ke Baad official trailer is on the mark: editing is slick, acting is impressive and, most of all, the story comes through as convincing.
The 2m 6sec trailer lays down the plot, and the inherent conflicts, with endearing simplicity.
Most of the footage features Abhay (
Imran Khan) and Aalia (
Deepika Padukone), with their screen mothers, Lilette Dubey and Sharmila Tagore, appearing in a couple of scenes each.
We weren’t as impressed with the first look promotional of the film as we are with the theatrical trailer.
The film releases on November 26, 2010.

Not even a weeks time for its release, the flick Action Replayy starring Akshay kumar and Aishwarya Rai has run into legal trouble.
The film, which is produced by Vipul Shah, has a case that has been filed against it in the Bombay High Court for non payment of dues. The litigation has been filed by Dubai based entertainment company Eros Worldwide. In the complaint, Eros claims approximately Rs. 6.56 crore that is still to be repaid by the producers.
Hearing the plaintiff, Justice JH Bhatia issued notice to Shah and asked him to reply to the suit on November 4, a day prior to the film’s release.
Eros Worldwide had filed a suit yesterday, through their legal firm Manilal Kher Ambalal and Co. The petition that was filed stated that the defendant (Vipul Shah) be restrained from exhibiting, causing to exhibit, releasing, communicating to the public in any manner, exploiting, delivering the prints to any third party or in any other manner exploiting or suffering the exploitation of the film Action Replayy which is scheduled to be released in first week of November.
The judge suggested both the parties to settle the financial dispute in two days.

Hrithik for a cameo in SRK’s Don 2: While alongside Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan may be sniffing butterflies in the stomach for the upcoming magnum opus ‘Guzaarish’, the grapevine has it that he is also shooting for a cameo in Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Don 2’.
That is precisely why he is currently stationed in the German capital of Berlin. It was being speculated that he is there to celebrate SRK’s birthday which falls on 2nd November. But looks like the real reason is being kept a secretive affair!
Don 2 is directed by Farhan Akhtar and is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani. Hrithik is buddies with both having worked in their ‘Lakshya’. Besides, Hrithik is also doing Farhan’s sis Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ which also stars the vivacious Katrina Kaif. Hence, it is understandable that when Farhan requested Hrithik for a cameo in Don 2, he couldn’t refuse.
And it is apparently a great ploy to bring the SRK-Hrithik duo on screen again after they brewed great riveting chemistry in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’. Besides, since Don 2 is replete with daredevil scenes, it would be interesting to see if the hunky Hrithik gives SRK a run for his money.

Katrina Kaif as Radha in her next Film on ‘Lord Krishna’: Bollywood’s most gorgeous actress is set to turn Radha in a film on Lord Krishna. Katrina Kaif has agreed to make a guest appearance as the lover of Krishna.
Katrina’s hairstylist Promila Hunter is set to produce a film titled ‘Main Krishna Hoon’ to be directed by Rajiv S Ruia who recently made My Friend Ganesha. When Promila asked Katrina if she would make a guest appearance in the film, the actress agreed readily. She did not even inquire about her role. It was later that she came to know that she’ll be playing Radha.
The movie will primarily focus of Lord Krishna’s life, from his childhood pranks to amorous flirtations with gopis. Katrina will have a small role but she’s taking it seriously and has started reading relevant books to understand Lord Krishna’s story and his relation with Radha.
Apparently, Katrina will do this cameo for free.

Salman Khan back to ‘Dus Ka Dum’ on his own demand: Not the one to take a rebuke lying down, Salman Khan has finally made the broadcasters of the television show Dus Ka Dum kowtow to his demands.
Now, as the reports allege, Salman is set to return as the game show’s host for the third season, which will be go on air only next year. But what’s significant is Salman’s return to the show, which looked all but beleaguered in the flamboyant host’s absence.
As was reported earlier, Salman was set to host the third season this year, but the channel did not compromise on Salman’s demand for a fee hike. Last year, Salman had deliberately slashed his fee because the channel was reeling with the effects of economic recession. So the actor obviously did not take it kindly that the channel shot down his demand for a fee increment this year.
The result was that Salman bowed out of the show. The channel people obviously weren’t able to find a replacement for Salman. After all, who can match that charm, that spontaneity and those off-the-cuff wisecracks of Sallu?
Reports say that last week, the channel approached Salman again and agreed to do the show on his terms and conditions. Salman, too, did not show any airs and agreed to host the third season.
All’s well that ends well.

Indian Gay film ‘Dunno Y…Na Jaane Kyun’: Even though Sanjay Sharma’s Dunno Y…Na Jaane Kyun is garnering praises and applause internationally for its controversial subject, back home it has invited the ire of the youth unit of a right wing party, who are sending threats to the makers of the film given its bold subject of portraying homosexual relationship.
The actors have also been getting threatening mails over the last week warning them with dire consequences if the gay film was released. And because of those threats, the film which was supposed to release this Friday, the makers have been forced to postpone the film next week for a Diwali release!
The makers of the film are concerned about the security and concerns of their stakeholders and partners of the film.
Though the film is about the multi-layered emotional conflict in an Anglo Indian Family, it is Bollywood first mainstream film that tackles gender issues and biases against gays. Gay Activists who have seen the film are unanimous that unlike other films like Dostana etc, which is more of a parody on gays.
Though two biggies Golmaal 3 and Action Replayy release around the same time as Dunno Y. But the makers are confident as the film is being favoured by distributors because of its genre.

Vivek Oberoi’s ‘Rakta Charitra’ 5 Reasons of Success?: Vivek Oberoi has scored over Mallika Sherawat and John Abraham this week at the Bolly box office as Vivek’s ‘Rakta Charitra’ has smelt blood at the cash windows. On one hand, where Rakta Charitra is selling at hot rates, ‘Hisss’ has fizzed and ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’ has not done any remarkable business.
Ram Gopal Verma must, indeed, be a happy man now that his much-hyped flick has clicked with the movie goers. Here are the reasons why it has spawned such a craze:
1. Firstly, positive word of mouth publicity has done a lot of good to the film which began sluggishly but later gathered momentum.
2. Secondly, the critics gave the film mixed reactions while some recommended it whole heartedly.
3. Thirdly, the political controversy surrounding the film has, indeed, added fuel to public’s interest.
4. Fourthly, this film has been tagged ‘the most violent film ever made in India’. Who wouldn’t want to witness this bloody gore?
5. And fifthly, the fact that its competitors ‘Hisss’ and ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’ have fallen flat, has surely made its way easier.

Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dhobi Ghat’ releasing come soon but?: Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dhobi Ghat’ (the directorial debut of wife Kiran Rao) was slated to release on 25th February. However, now the maverick and dexterous Aamir has decided to unleash it on 21st January. The fact that Aamir has preponed his film by a month is not going down the throat of director Vishal Bharadwaj who is apparently displeased.
Reason? Well, he was planning to release his Priyanka Chopra starrer flick ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ on that date.
Reasons why Aamir has preponed his film:
1. Firstly, the cricket World Cup is to begin next year and hence the date of 25th February won’t be an auspicious time for any Bollywood film.
2. Secondly, 21st January is a good time to release the film given that it is the festive week with 26th January being observed as India’s Republic Day. “Aamir feels the earlier he comes during the year the better. The January 26 weekend is a great time to release a film.”
Now, since UTV has produced both ‘Dhobi Ghat’ and ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’, it is now pressuring Vishal to change the date of his flick. Aamir and Vishal are not on very amiable terms and this tiff would only add to their personal woes.
