Yep, Pete Wentz is a liar, the newlyweds didn’t spend their honeymoon in their basement after all. Pete told Ryan Seacrest that he and Ashlee Simpson were hiding out at home, “eating DiGiorno’s pizza,” to “save that 30 grand” days after their wedding.The truth was they were enjoying the Caribbean Sun. The pregnant singer (in a bikini!) and the shirtless Fall Out Boy rocker were photographed swimming Thursday. The newlyweds are now in New York City, where Wentz is expected to play a private Fall Out Boy show for a Sweet 16 party, New York’s Daily News reports.

The couple can’t keep quiet about how happy they are.”I feel great!” Wentz told Seacrest. “It is sunny and 65 in my head.” In the interview, Wentz continued to play coy about Simpson’s pregnancy. “Ryan, this baby has not been confirmed,” he said. “The only thing I’m confirming now is that we’re in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees.”
So by all means if Pete is such a big liar that means that Ashlee is actually pregnant as it was reported!! Why can’t celebrity just say things like they are!!? Of course they can be desperate for publicity… too bad their wedding was only sold by $1.3 million!

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have gotten married, her rep, Brad Cafarelli confirmed the story. According to a source, they were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse’s ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. They were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail.“She looked happy but nervous,” the source says. Warren, in a white shirt and brown pants, arrived with Alba at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, applied for a marriage license and waited about 40 minutes for the paperwork to be processed before a staff member from the courthouse married them, the source says.
Nobody else attended the wedding, the source adds. Apparently not even Jessica’s brother knew about the ceremony. “My sister!? I’m going to have to call her!” Josh Alba said when Us Weekly alerted him to the news Tuesday.
When asked if Warren will make a good husband, Josh said “Well, he’s my brother in law now!” Ah ah surprise!!! I bet he didn’t like hearing it from a magazine but sister Jess should have at least told him “hey bro, I’m married now!!”

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz exchanged vows in an intimate sunset wedding ceremony. The shotgun wedding was held at Simpson’s parents’ home in Encino, California and was attended by 150 guests, including Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, actor Donald Faison and the pop star’s big sister Jessica, who served as maid of honor.
Jessica’s boyfriend, American footballer Tony Romo, was also present at the ceremony, despite reports the couple has split.Ashlee wore an ivory lace Monique Lhuillier gown, complete with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane. The newlyweds celebrated their new status as husband and wife with an Alice in Wonderland-themed reception, with black beauty roses by Mark’s Garden decorating each table. The wedding cake, by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings, featured a top hat, a tea pot, a stop watch and a pot of flowers on top.

It was a big day for Jenna Bush, President George Bush’s daughter. Jenna always said from the beginning she didn’t want a White House wedding. The wedding was celebrated where Jenna felt most comfortable, the Bush family ranch in Crawford, Texas (May 10, 2008). “I wanted to be at home, and I wanted it to feel natural and I wanted it to be a private thing. It’s the one day of my life — it happens once — that I want to have a private time with Henry and my family. Plus, I’m not that glamorous. I’m more an outdoor type.”
The sunset ceremony, Jenna said “will be lovely and private and simple, and, we hope, the wildflowers will be blooming.”
Her gown, which she has described to Vogue magazine as simple and casual, is an Oscar de la Renta creation of embroidered organza with matte beading and a small train. Barbara Bush was her sister’s maid of honor. Jenna’s 14 attendants wore short chiffon dresses by Lela Rose, a Texas designer, in green, blue, yellow and lavender.

Kate Hudson flashed a huge diamond engagement ring when she was snapped outside a Boston restaurant on Thursday. Owen Wilson, who reportedly tried to kill himself after the pair split up, proposed in Miami last week with the megabucks diamond solitaire.
A pal of Kate confirmed the pair is to wed in a lavish ceremony next year. The source revealed: “Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the woman he wants to be with forever.
“He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional.”
Kate and Owen first got together in 2006 after filming You, Me & Dupree together. The romance was blamed for her split from hubby Chris Robinson and initially, the pair denied they were an item, but after going public they dated for a year.

Mariah Carey married boyfriend Nick Cannon Wednesday — but it now appears the pop diva was in such a rush to tie the knot, she didn’t get her new husband to sign a pre-nuptial agreement.
“There was no pre-nup – there wasn’t time,” a friend of the ‘Touch My Body’ singer tells the New York Post newspaper. The pair wed yesterday in a small ceremony on an island and it was “very impulsive”. A few close friends of the couple, including rapper Da Brat attended.
“They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks,” the friend said. “And she’s always had a crush on him.”
Nick was previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007. However, the couple called off the engagement that same year. Mariah is reportedly using the same engagement ring Nick gave to Selita.
When asked what he loved about Carey, Cannon said “everything.”
Added the friend: “Everyone is happy to see her happy. “And it could work out — some people know each other for five years and get divorced, maybe this is true instant love.”
The confirmation came late last night from a member of Nick’s family, Linda Cannon, who says she received a phone call from the 27-year old funnyman confirming the happy news.
“Yes, we know. He called and told us all about it,” Linda tells E! News. “We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.”

Carmen Electra is engaged to her boyfriend Rob Patterson, her rep has confirmed. This will be the third marriage for the actress-model, who was previously married to rocker Dave Navarro and, briefly, to NBA star Dennis Rodman.
“He told friends three days ago that he got engaged,” a source said. “The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds.”
“This relationship is different than the others,” she says. “”It’s so special. We both feel it’s an important thing right now, and we want to keep everything special, so we’re keeping everything secret for now.”
Patterson popped the question over the weekend. “It was my birthday, and we were celebrating in Las Vegas together, so [The engagement] was my birthday present,” she said.
“It was just the two of us and it was really romantic, he asked me while we were alone in our hotel room.” Did he get down on one knee? “I’m not saying, but it was really romantic,” she said.
As for the ring, I wouldn’t say a black diamond is romantic but it’s certainly different. I love that stone… just not for an engagement ring…

I think every girl dreams of a beach wedding some time in her life. Eli made his fiancé wishes come true… Eli Manning said ‘I do’ to his college sweetheart, Abby McGrew, in a sunset ceremony on the beach in front of the Sea of Cortez Saturday.
Giants star Manning, 27, and McGrew, 24, exchanged vows on a platform in the sand as waves crashed over rocks behind them at the One&Only Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, reports the New York Daily News.
The bride, in a strapless white gown with gold embroidering, carried white roses and walked down the aisle to an altar covered in pink wildflowers.
McGrew was attended by six bridesmaids in champagne-colored gowns and Manning and his six groomsmen wore khaki suits.
“Welcome to one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever presided over,” the minister said to begin the evening, according to the News. The ceremony took about 15 minutes and a reception followed on the beach.
