Eva Mendes Still Happy With her Long Time Boyfriend

Despite all the rumors of her hooking up with co-stars Matt Damon and Joaquin Phoenix over the years, there’s still only one man in Eva Mendes’ life and that’s her longtime beau, filmmaker George Gargurevich.
The couple has been dating entirely on the down-low for the past six years. George, who directed Eva in his 2005 flick 3 & 3, was overheard dropping his lady love’s name at the Hotel Cafe last week when introduced to a mutual friend. “He said, ‘Oh, I think you know my girlfriend,’ ” an eavesdropper reported. “When the girl asked who, he said, ‘Eva Mendes.’ ”
As for Eva, the 34-year-old recently completed a rehab stint at the Cirque Lodge and has a much-anticipated film coming out later this year, The Women.

Eva Mendes Happy & Back Into Shape

I can’t even believe Eva Mendes really did rehab for some “substance abuse” problem that is still not clear.
I think it’s amazing that Eva was so aware and ready to get herself together that we never noticed any weird behavior… the only sign was her check in rehab that took us by surprise.
Eva checked out on February 7 from the exclusive Cirque Lodge in Utah, where she spent several weeks. Leaving her workout in her peach pants and gray workout top, Eva appears to be taking her post-rehab health seriously.
Go girl! Rehab rocks! Eva is amazingly gorgeous and that big smile on her face never looked better.

Marc Jacobs got these fabulous and famous celebrities to get naked for him… or should I say for his campaign against skin cancer!?!
Victoria Beckham, who recently made some ads for Marc Jacobs, was the first to step forward to say you have to protect your skin but most importantly your kid’s skin.
“Since we moved to California I have realized how important it is to practise safe sun for myself and to keep my three boys’ skin well protected as well. Skin cancer is a huge problem and I really wanted to help raise awareness by taking part in Marc’s initiative.” –said Victoria.
Of course that doesn’t include her infinite tanning sessions… but it should!! Sometimes that woman looks orange!!

Go Eva!! A woman can still be sexy without wearing fur; actually Eva looks pretty sexy in her own skin. Joining PETA to fight against the use and abuse of fur hear what Eva has to say…
What drew you to the idea of working with PETA on our “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” Campaign?
I wasn’t familiar with PETA early in my career. I remember having my first premiere in New York City and being so naive that I didn’t have a coat with me. My stylist sent me a fur wrap for the evening and I ignorantly wore it. PETA then wrote me a beautiful letter commenting on my less-than-educated choice. I was so impressed that I vowed to them and myself to never wear real fur on the red carpet or in my life again.

What issue involving animals is dearest to your heart? Also, you have a lot of fans out there which gives you a powerful platform to reach people and make a difference: What is your message to them about having compassion and getting active to help animals?
I’d say the closest animal rights issue to me right now is being anti-fur. I feel like in recent years, due to pop culture, fur has made a comeback. Some people still see wearing fur as glamorous and a sign of prosperity. Personally I think wearing a baby chinchilla says, “I’m ignorant,” vs. saying “I’m a badass.” I don’t think you can force people to change their attitudes, but you can help to educate them and to lead by example. … There are way too many amazing faux fur options out there for people to still be wearing real fur. I want people to know that there are options; that killing a poor animal and wearing it isn’t cool. But respecting all life forms is cool. Very cool.
Yep it’s cool respecting nature! Go buy expensive synthetic coats if you like fluffy things!! There are other options!!!

Eva Mendes couldn’t promote her new movie “We Own the Night”, staring Robert Duvall, Mark Wahlberg, and Joaquin Phoenix, in a better way! Eva is the Maxim girl for the October’s issue and doesn’t she look absolutely amazing and natural!?!

Your new movie, We Own the Night, opens with a pretty explicit scene between you and Joaquin Phoenix. What was that day at work like?
It was tough. That morning I was so nervous that the director was like, “Why don’t you put a little vodka in your orange juice?” So I did. It took the edge off.

Is it bizarre to watch your own sex scenes?
It’s weird to see myself in bed with Joaquin up on the big screen. I told my mom she has to come 15 minutes late. She wouldn’t live through that first scene—she’d have a heart attack. The poor lady would keel over in the movie theater.
