The director of the film ‘‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ is coming up with his latest movie titled ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’. This movie features Bharath and Malayalam actress Rima Kallingal in leading roles. This film will mark the debut of Rima Kallingal in Tamil.
In ‘Yuvan Yavathi’ Bharath will be playing the role of an IT professional. Famous tamil actor Santhanam will doing playing an important role in this film. Vijay Antony is doing the music for this movie. This movie will be releasing on Christmas.

The simplicity of Arjun is unparalleled, feels actress Haripriya. She was in fact, referring to her co star in the film ‘Vallakkottai’. His friendliness and amicability is something that she has never experienced so far, the actress gushes unable to stop singing paeans to her hero in Venkatesh’s film.
She also feels that she has been extremely lucky in getting an opportunity to act alongside Arjun. This is her very first film with him but she has already made it a point to watch the other films, where he had played the main lead. The Kollywood big screen had missed actress Vijayalakshmi for quite some time. However, the girl is now back with a bang. With several projects in hand, Vijayalakshmi is all set to make her comeback to the Chennai film industry a successful one. The actress says that she was away from Chennai to take time out for her career in Sandalwood.
And since Vijayalakshmi had been away for more than five years, Kollywood took it for granted that she had settled down in Karnataka. However, the actress is now back to Chennai, her home land, putting an end to all rumors. Stressing on the fact that Chennai is her rightful home and Karnataka is only the place where she had completed her studies, Vijayalakshmi says that she is a pure ‘Tamilian’ and therefore no force could keep her bound in Karnataka for a long time. Back to Kollywood, Vijayalakshmi has already signed films like ‘Thambikkottai’, with several other projects on which work will begin very soon. And for all Vijayalakshmi fans, there is some greater news. The actress has confirmed that she is not married and neither has plans to tie the knot any time soon. It may have an all new cast, but journalist-turned-filmmaker Janaki Viswanathan’s Tamil movie “Om Obama” certainly has one globally known star – the American president who stars via cutouts, posters and even a song!

“Broadly the story is about a village that transforms economically after an export garment unit was built nearby and how it gets hit due to global recession. There are various sub-plots that make up the storyline,” iswanathan told IANS. She says the Kedarapalayam villagers started praying for Obama’s victory in the US presidential elections because they thought his economic policies would uplift the economies of the garment unit and their own.The sub-plots of “Om Obama”, releasing in December, include romance, grassroots politics, panchayat elections and others.
Viswanathan, a former print and television journalist, says the star cast is entirely new and the US Consulate gave a helping hand in identifying some Americans to star in the movie.”Many villagers where the movie was shot have acted in the film,” she said while declining to reveal the real name of the village that is around 200 km from here. “Perhaps this is the first time there is an Urdu song in a Tamil movie. The movie has four songs and the music is scored by Paul. J. There is also a song `Obama nee vaama, koode serndhu aadalama’ (Come Obama, shall we dance together),” she said. Cagey about the budget, Viswanathan says the film was shot in 35 days. Asked about the germination of the idea, she said: “I was working on a story on the impact of global recession on an Indian village when I chanced upon a news report on the crisis faced by Tirupur garment exporting units.” She said the article quoted Tirupur exporters as saying that they would pray for Obama’s victory in the 2008 US presidential elections as it would be better for Indian business. “That was the spark and from there I developed the plot,” Viswanathan added.
The movie is expected to be released in Tamil Nadu by the end of this year, close on the heels of Obama’s Nov 6-9 visit. “With subtitles we plan to release in other languages. We are also planning an international release and in movie festival circuits,” Viswanathan said. “Om Obama” is her third movie, the first two being national award winner “Kutty” and “Kanavu Meippada Vendum”. The first two movies broke even and she is confident that “Om Obama” will make profits! She is also confident that the movie will get entertainment tax exemption from the Tamil Nadu government as the title is in Tamil. In the state if a film has title in Tamil, it gets tax exemption.

Lakshmi Ganapathi Films had brought in several successful dubbing films right from the Hollywood to Kollywood is back on high spirits after a long pause.
B. Subramanyam the chief of the house released a press report that the house locked the dubbing rights of two high budget Tamil movies. One is Kamal Hassan starrer Manmadhan Ambu and Ezhanam Arivu starring Suriya, Shruthi Hassan for a sky-high price.
7aam Arivu’s movie is directed by Murugadoss and Manmadhan Ambu is being directed by K.S. Ravikumar.Both these flicks are coming under Red Giant Movies banner produced by Udhyanidhi Stalin.
The chief of LGF says we locked these films with facing heavy competition from top producers from Tollywood.He is expecting that these big budget films will replicate Robo collections in Telugu.

A Tamil writer lodged a complaint at the Chennai city Police Commissioner’s Office on Monday alleging that Superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘Endhiran’ was a spin-off from his novel that was published a few years ago.
Aarur Tamil Nadan, who is a deputy news editor with a biweekly Tamil investigative magazine, came to the Police Commissioner’s office with his advocates and submitted the petition.
Speaking to reporters, he said, “I had written a small novel Jugiba and it was published in a magazine in 1996. My novel was published again in 2007 with my permission. Director Shankar and producer Kalanithi Maran stole the raw story from my novel and made Endhiran”.
“Many of my friends and relatives informed me about this. So I went and watched the movie and was shocked to find that the director and the producer have clearly violated copyright and made a movie with my story as the plot with just some songs and fight sequences as additions”.

Rajeshwar, the director who gave us films like ‘Idhaya Thamarai’,
‘Amaran’, ‘Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi’ and the recent ‘Indira Vizha’. He
has now floated a company called Icon Entertainment.
Rajeshwar will be the managing director of Icon Entertainment, which
will be promoted by J Rajmohan Pillai, who is the chairman of Beta
Empire, a two billion $ international company having its business in
manufacture, distribution and export of processed nuts and dry fruits.
“We are planning to leave our mark in various areas of entertainment. We
will be there in film production, distribution, film equipment unit,
edit suite, recording studio, entertainment shows in abroad, Tamil
television channel, publication of books and weekly magazine”, says
Rajeshwar.
“In Tamil, we will produce movies like Dhideer Nagaril Oru Kadhal Gana,
Pitha, Sivagamiyin Sabadham and Lankavi”, the filmmaker said and added:
“We will also make movies in English, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam”.
‘Dhideer Nagaril Oru Kadhal Gana’, which is a remake of Hindi movie
‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’, will have Rajeshwar’s son Ranjan as the
protagonist. Interestingly, Rajeshwar was the scriptwriter of ‘Ajab Prem
Ki Ghazab Kahani’.
