After only 4 months of becoming a mom to baby Harlow (born January 11), Nicole Richie is already an award winning mom! She will receive a Golden Pacifier Knocked Up, Grown Up Award from Babytalk Magazine.“Honoring Nicole Richie with a Babytalk Golden Pacifier Award might come as a surprise to some, but we felt that she deserved some recognition for her turnaround since becoming a mom,” editor-in-chief Lisa Moran tells OK!.
Noting that the 26-year-old has done a full 180 in the past year, rising from the ashes of her DUI and brief jail sentence to opening the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation with fiancée Joel Madden, Lisa adds that Nicole has “set a good example” with her ways.
“She’s grown up a lot since the arrival of little Harlow, and her creation of the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation has demonstrated her efforts to set a good example by shining a spotlight on important issues affecting today’s families,” she says.

Paris Hilton is reportedly in a serious relationship with Benji Madden and she is already thinking about having babies. Paris thinks she will be a good mother, because she has “a lot of beautiful animals.”Desperate to have children, Paris believes caring for her large collection of animals has prepared her for motherhood: “I have a lot of beautiful animals that I look after and I feel I would have a lot to give my children,” she said.
The hotel heiress — who was recently investigated by Los Angeles authorities after revealing she had 17 dogs, 14 more than city bylaws allow — once claimed that she owned 600 pets that she kept in her in her various homes, including Chihuahuas, a Rottweiler dog, a bobcat, a ferret, a kinkajou and a Lhasa Aspo dog.
Last year, Paris revealed she was preparing her body so it was in prime condition to conceive: “I want kids next year, so I’ve got to get my body ready.”

Everybody talks about how difficult it is in the first three months, but I absolutely love it. Everything I do is for her. My whole life revolves around her and I absolutely love it. I was so excited from the minute I found out I was pregnant … and it’s been nothing but an amazing ride since.

How Lionel thinks Nicole has changed: Motherhood has given her all the keys to understanding how her mother and I were trying to raise her. Now it has come full circle.

On her and Joel’s opposite personalities: Yeah, for being so opposite, we could possibly hate each other. (smiles) [Joel is] very conservative. [He has] a different way of thinking. But at the same time, he’s never tried to change me. And if anything, we were friends first. We just have fun together. When we’re apart, we just get on iChat and don’t even say anything to each other. (laughs) He likes to get girly sometimes. But he’d kill me if he knew I said that!

On the topic of marriage and more kids: One day, yeah — not tomorrow, not today. We are committed to our family. I’m 26. I’ve definitely had a very eventful year. So right now, it’s about me enjoying my time with my daughter. I want five children: twin boys and three girls. I’ve wanted that since I was a little girl.

On her pregnancy style: It’s not like I blew up overnight. It gradually happened, and then I wasn’t pregnant anymore. When my jeans stopped fitting, I wore the Balenciaga riding pants. I like to be comfortable. Luckily for me, I’m completely comfortable in six-inch heels!

On her post-baby body: Half my wardrobe is already stretched. Not all my clothes fit the same. I don’t even think it’s a weight thing; I think your body just changes after you have a baby. I don’t care either way, but (gestures to newfound chest) I’m not used to having a tank top or bra underneath my clothes. You always hear that people with blond hair or larger breasts get more attention, but I never really thought that was real! I like wearing shirts that are a bit see-through because before it didn’t really matter. But now it’s like, ‘Uh-oh, I could get arrested.’

On Joel as a father: Joel actually changes more diapers than I do! It’s his time with her. He sings to her … he laughs with her, plays with her. It’s amazing.

On changing perspectives and ideals: You know, I went through a stage of thinking that once you had a baby, you moved to Brentwood, had a white picket fence, and it changed your entire life. But I love where I am right now. Every single thing is for Harlow. Joel took me out last week, and he was like, ‘Why don’t we go out and have a shopping day?’ But I ended up only going to kid stores. (laughs) I didn’t get to buy shoes or anything.

On the choice to do a introductory photoshoot with Harlow: The day before it came out, I was nervous, because there was going to be a picture of my daughter everywhere. But if I didn’t put a picture out, it would have been 10 times worse. I wanted to stop people trying to get pictures of her. I was just being a protective mom.

On the decision to start the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation: I got like 10 cribs and 20 strollers. For one little girl! So we wanted to take the gifts we got and give them to the people who actually needed them. [We met with charity advising firm] Inspired Philanthropy, and they really opened our eyes.

On the paparazzi: It is scary. I don’t want that around her, I just don’t … it’s definitely the thing that makes me most nervous. [But] I’m the luckiest girl alive right now. I have nothing to complain about.

On complaints that she attended events at a few weeks postpartum: You know what? (furrows brow) I was gone for maybe three hours. I never go out. I go four or five days without leaving my house. But the press just went wild with it. [We have] a date night once a week. [Sometimes we see] a movie if the running time’s not too long.

On tattoos: To be honest, it would completely break my heart if she got a tattoo!

On her close celebrity friends, such as Paris Hilton, Mischa Barton, and Mary-Kate Olsen: I feel like my group of five to ten friends, they really love [Harlow], like she’s theirs … my friends never go outside for smoke breaks anymore, they don’t curse, they are definitely more demure. It’s actually been really interesting.

When asked who among her friends she expects to have a child next, Paris is brought up as an option. Nicole responded, “Ha, nooo!! But I don’t think anyone would have bet on me.”

Joel Madden is completely in love with his beautiful daughter and he used to sing only for her:

“You know, no matter how many beautiful girls there are in this audience, I must confess that three months ago, I had a little baby girl, and she’s my one and only true love.”
“Before I left on tour,” Joel continued, “We’ve been on tour about a month now, I used to sing songs to [Harlow] every day. And there’s a band she really likes, it’s called The Cure. Big Cure fan. So I’ve learned all their songs and we’ll sing one tonight. This is called ‘Love Song.’”

It seems like Nicole and Joel are amazing parents! From what I saw of Simple Life, Nicole was the one who always conquered the kids and having her own baby girl “It’s definitely like nothing I could have imagined,” she says.

Nicole Richie has confessed the birth of her first daughter Harlow changed her life and she couldn’t be happier. But it’s only normal to have ambitions to get back in the game.
Nicole was spotted leaving an audition in Toluca Lake, Calif., on April 11, clutching a script. She explained to an onlooker that she was simply “getting back to work”; however, friends of the star are surprised that Nicole, 26, would be willing to jump-start her career again. “Nicole is thrilled with the way things are in her life, and she couldn’t be happier,” one of her friends says.
While her fiance, Joel Madden is on the road with his band, Good Charlotte, the pair keeps in touch via iPhone. “While he’s away, Nicole is always sending Joel pictures of little Harlow,” the friend says. “Joel responds by calling back and singing little lullabies into the phone, which always makes Harlow giggle and smile.”
The absence of daddy Joel is hard on Nicole, a source said “Nicole would be happier if he [Joel] just focused on his clothing line. His music takes him away from her and it’s difficult for her to be watching the baby alone while he’s out touring. Nicole doesn’t have a full-time nanny, so she’s watching the baby around the clock and it has taken a toll.”

Just wanted to check in and say hi! I’ve been on tour with my boyfriend for almost a month now. We’ve been everywhere from South Africa to all around Europe. It’s been so much fun! I’ve never felt so happy and in love, he’s such an amazing guy and life has never been better! It’s so much fun going to their shows every night, I now know every song by heart. I love Good Charlotte, they rock!! All the guys in the band are so cool and sweet and it’s been such an amazing and memorable experience. In my free time, Ive been checking out all your casting videos on the casting site for my new MTV show, www.ParisBFF.com, there are A LOT of fabulous and interesting contenders. I cannot wait to start shooting this show!! It’s going to be a blast!! So if you haven’t logged in yet, go to the site and upload a video, I watch every single one. Also, I was in Montreal a couple days ago for my new shoe line launch, which was a huge success, the shoes are there top seller there. I want to thank you all for coming, it was great meeting you all. I love Canada!! Canadians are awesome, so genuine and real! Thank you for all your letters and kind words, they mean the world to me. The socialite was attempting a quick exit from a music store in Prague, the Czech Republic with boyfriend Benji Madden, when she tripped over a step, fell face down and banged her chin on the ground.Down she goes: Paris falls to the ground as she tried to make a sharp exit from a music store in Prague. Unfortunately chivalry appears dead as boyfriend Benji Madden steps over his girlfriend.However as soon as Benji realizes his socialite girlfriend is hurt, he turns round and helps Paris to her feet.

I think this is so completely hypocritical from Paris, it loses any sense of innocence a moment like this should have. Besides is she trying to pull a Princess Diana?? It just doesn’t work for Paris!!
Paris Hilton says she’s all geared up to hit the road with her rocker beau Benji Madden when his band, Good Charlotte kicks off their international tour next week.
“We’re actually leaving in a couple days for South Africa, so I’ll be with him,” Hilton – who has been dating Madden for a month and a half, said.
She was the airhead heiress who pledged to abandon her wildchild ways and devote herself to charity after a spell in prison.
So after her flopped trip to Rwanda to do some good, Paris decides to spread her love to the Jakaranda Kinderhuis orphanage in Pretoria, South Africa. There’s only one good thing about this… the happy kids who are just happy to see her!

Love is in the air!! Love is insane! Love is blind!! I can remember a millions clichés to qualify this relationship between Paris and Benji, but it seems like it’s getting really serious!
Paris and Benji were close and personal celebrating Benji’s birthday in Las Vegas. They seemed to be having lots of fun and Paris doesn’t take her ‘engagement’ ring off.
The ring has a lot of bling, distasteful BM letters set in diamonds which stands for her lover’s inicials, Benji Madden. That’s really cheesy!!
This ring first come out in the open just a couple days ago at the grand opening of the Kim Vo Salon at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, March 7. Paris is just making sure everyone sees her new ring…and her skull necklace and earrings, what is wrong with Paris??
At Benji’s birthday Paris went a little further wearing a necklace with a B… will the cheesiness ever end!

Sources report Benji has been a positive influence on the heiress’s life —Paris is refocusing her energies and spending a lot more time either at her home “nesting” or at Nicole Richie’s house, indulging in some mellow time with baby Harlow.
Contrary to my most optimistic beliefs, Paris and Benji are still going strong!

The new hottest couple in Hollywood is… not Paris and Benji for sure. How did they get together?? Is this for real?? Or is it some kind of publicity stunt for some reason strange reason that we just don’t get yet?
The pair – who were first spotted together in Los Angeles last week – looked loved-up as they held hands while shopping in West Hollywood earlier this week.
Paris – who is reportedly set to star in new reality TV show later this year – has even been seen wearing a silver band from top jewelers Tiffany and Co. on her ring finger, sparking engagement rumors.
“We hear she has been wearing a Tiffany band from Benji on her ring finger!” reports Page Six.
A source close to Benji said: “He is really happy with Paris and has already been telling all his friends she is the one. He says he can really see himself ending up with her for good.”
Isn’t it a little too soon to be calling Paris the one??
I bet Nicole Richie is super happy to have her BFF/enemy Paris Hilton as her sister-in-law.
