Invites Golmaal 3 team for lunch on Bigg Boss sets to celebrate Film’s successful opening

A massive feast awaited the Golmaal 3 cast members and Director Rohit Shetty when they visited the sets of Bigg Boss. Thanks to Salman Khan, who treated Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu after he heard of the film having got a big opening. The Diwali special episode will be telecast on Colours channel tonight.

A source from the Bigg Boss sets said: “Salman is known as the large-hearted Khan in B-Town. Yesterday he proved it once again when he personally invited the Golmaal 3 cast along with director Rohit Shetty for lunch at his specially-erected home.”

“Though each of the cast members and Rohit had their individual vans, Salman insisted they all join him for lunch. Salman was genuinely happy to hear from Rohit and Ajay that Golmaal 3 got a good opening and collected almost Rs 10 crore on the opening day, ” he added.

It was a royal feast with delicious food cooked and packed from Salman’s home. The source said, “The menu included a variety of Diwali sweets from kaju barfis to gajar ka halwa.

Chicken tikka, mutton biryani, corn palak and daal was also on the menu. Salman ribbed Tusshar about his deaf and mute act in the film and told him how much he enjoyed it. He even mimicked the act.”

That wasn’t all. “Ajay, Rohit and Kareena went inside the Bigg Boss house while Shreyas and Tusshar stayed with Salman outside. When Salman asked Rohit which Bigg Boss 3 contestant would he cast in Golmaal 4, Rohit replied Aanchal. This, was because she was the quietest member of the house and would be a fine romantic partner for Tusshar’s character.”

Rohit Shetty said, “It was good fun meeting Salman and the other team members in BB4. I’m very happy that Golmaal 3 has got a bumper opening all over.”

“Diwali is a time of festivities and joy and our film is an embodiment of that. I hope G3 brings lots of happiness people’s lives, ” he added.

Rahul Bhatt got eliminated from the BB4 house last night.

Why nobody but Salman let Govinda dub at his studio

Actor has been banned from dubbing at certain studios Govinda has two releases lined up – Ravi Chopra’s Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai and Neeraj Vora’s Run Bhola Run. The actor was to dub for the films, but he wasn’t given permission for recording at certain studios because on several occasions in the past, he never showed up in time for the booking.

Chi Chi ended up dubbing his films at Salman’s studio in Andheri after other establishments refused to let him dub in their premises.

An source says, “Govinda never arrived to the studio on time, and then he delayed the booking of the next person.

This happened many times, and all studios decided to ban him, after many bookings for shift following Govinda’s had to be cancelled as the actor finished late. Since the studios didn’t want to lose money they politely refused him from using their services.”

The producers of Run Bhola Run and Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai were in a fix about how to finish Chi Chi’s portions. Finally, Chi Chi requested Salman to let him record at his studio in Andheri called Sight And Sound.

Govinda denies this, “I have been jobless for more than a year as all my films are complete. All my recordings for Run Bhola Run and Banda Yeh Bindass Hai are complete and I haven’t any new film for me to record, so this is not true. I have been recording only at Salman (Khan’s) studio in Andheri, Sight And Sound ever since I did Partner, as I consider it lucky for me. “Ever since I recorded for Partner in Salman’s studio I signed many films after that so I consider it to be auspicious. I have recorded all my future releases there, including other productions. Though Salman owns the studio I think he has asked someone to run it for him now.”

Salman Khan back to ‘Dus Ka Dum’ on his own demand

Salman Khan back to ‘Dus Ka Dum’ on his own demand: Not the one to take a rebuke lying down, Salman Khan has finally made the broadcasters of the television show Dus Ka Dum kowtow to his demands.

Now, as the reports allege, Salman is set to return as the game show’s host for the third season, which will be go on air only next year. But what’s significant is Salman’s return to the show, which looked all but beleaguered in the flamboyant host’s absence.

As was reported earlier, Salman was set to host the third season this year, but the channel did not compromise on Salman’s demand for a fee hike. Last year, Salman had deliberately slashed his fee because the channel was reeling with the effects of economic recession. So the actor obviously did not take it kindly that the channel shot down his demand for a fee increment this year.

The result was that Salman bowed out of the show. The channel people obviously weren’t able to find a replacement for Salman. After all, who can match that charm, that spontaneity and those off-the-cuff wisecracks of Sallu?

Reports say that last week, the channel approached Salman again and agreed to do the show on his terms and conditions. Salman, too, did not show any airs and agreed to host the third season.

All’s well that ends well.

Salman Khan’s entry in ‘Bigg Boss’ house for special ‘Dewali’ episode: Host banaa housemate. But only for a day. Salman Khan is set to enter the Bigg Boss house and spend an entire day with the housemates.

The star will step inside the Bigg Boss house in Lonavala for the special Diwali episode. He will spend the festive day with the housemates. The actor, who took over as a host of ‘Bigg Boss 4′ from Amitabh Bachchan, will add some spice to the show on Diwali.

Even as tension runs high about who would be evicted from the house next, Salman’s visit has come as a relief to the residents as there wouldn’t be any eliminations this week owing to his special appearance.

Akshay Kumar donating Rs. 50 lakh for Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’

Akshay Kumar donating Rs. 50 lakh for Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’: Akshay Kumar has loosened his purse strings by donating a substantial amount of money to the ‘Being Human’ charity run by Salman Khan.

Akshay and Salman were recently seen bonding on the sets of Tees Maar Khan and now the friendship between them has only got thicker. Akshay has donated a whopping amount of Rs. 50 lakh to ‘Being Human’, evoking a gesture of gratitude from Salman.

“Yeah !!! Akshay Kumar has donated 50 lakhs to Being Human, our charitable trust. Thank you Akki . I think everybody should tweet and thank him,” Salman wrote on his Twitter page.

The buzz is that Akshay will donate more money to ‘Being Human’ before the year ends.

Earlier this month, a lot of actresses from Bollywood walked the ramp for Salman’s ‘Being Human’ fashion show during the HDIL Couture Week.

When it comes to charity, the film stars sure do show alacrity.

Red Eye of Salman Khan – Photo: Whether it’s a terrible eye infection or his dog pounced on him or apparently a cosmetic surgery to get rid of his eyes bags, Salman Khan’s red eyes are taking more-than-expected time to get cured. Now the problem is that he can’t continue with the shoot of his film Ready which stars Asin opposite him.

As per reports he was supposed to start shooting for Ready’s second schedule by October 24 in Mumbai but because of his eyes he couldn’t do so and thus the shooting got postponed till November. The first schedule of Ready was shot in Sri Lanka amidst much hullabaloo created by the south film fraternity.

Salman has requested Anees Bazmee, director of the film and also a good friend, to start the second schedule only after his eyes are normal.

A few days back at the Dabangg DVD launch, explaining Salman’s absence, Arbaaz Khan had said that the star is suffering from conjunctivitis and later it was learnt that one of his pet dogs had injured him close to his eyes, making the situation worse.

Meanwhile, for Bigg Boss the star is shooting with his stylish, designer glasses on and it looks cool.

Salman Khan against Aishwarya Rai to promot her film Guzaarish at BB4!: Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan have a scandalous history behind them. Though neither Salman nor Aishwarya desire to face each other again, a clash at the house of the Bigg Boss has become a seeming possibility; but a remote one.

The team of ‘Guzaarish’ wish to use the Bigg Boss platform to advertise their film.

In such a scenario, the important cast and crew members of the film would have to visit the house in a celebrity guest episode. That would mean a brief entry of Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the house.

But given that Salman is the anchor of the show, that would have put both Salman and Aishwarya in a very precarious dilemma as a face-off would become inevitable. Hence, reportedly, Salman, after learning of the deal going on between the Guzaarish team and Bigg Boss organisers, has vehemently opposed such an idea and has maintained that no promotion of ‘Guzaarish’ would be possible through the show.

Perhaps, this would even save Aishwarya from an apparent discomfort. And even though Sanjay Leela is a good friend of Salman, he may have to do away with such a type of promotion.
