On her family life: “At the moment, we’re fine, the five of us. At some point, I’d love to have a girl, you know – just for all the clothes I’ve got to hand down. It would be tremendous fun. I’ve got great girlie advice that I can share.”

On her looks: “I just make the best out of what I have. I’m not out-of-the-ordinary-looking at all. I’m incredibly ordinary”

On her non-smiling Posh persona: “I kind of created this character at the beginning of the Spice Girls. I didn’t smile very much; it was quite pouty. I was famous for wearing a little black Gucci dress. [Except] it wasn’t a little black Gucci dress, it was a little black High Street dress. It was incredibly cheap. I just accessorized it well and had the pose that went with it. [...] Of course I smile. It’s just that they don’t use those pictures. It’s a better story to say that I’m a miserable cow. I get it.”

On Project Runway: “[It] shows how hard you have to work in fashion. These designers don’t have money. They don’t have huge budgets. Some of the challenges are there just because they’re fun for TV. On a 1997 photo of her with the Spice Girls: “You know, fashion changes. Rather than ever looking back at my clothes and cringing, I look back at the makeup and cringe. It looks like someone beat me up and pushed me onto the stage.”

On her personal style: “If I’m going to an event, it takes me about an hour and a half to put my hair up and have some makeup put on … I don’t have a stylist. I deal with that side of things myself. Melanie Brown says that she would definitely win a gold medal at the Olympics for her sexual performances, adding that she and her husband Stephen Belafonte have a great sex life. “Me and Stephen have a pretty hot sex life,” she says.Being the new face of lingerie giant Ultimo, helped her develop a positive attitude towards her personal image, therefore boosting her bedroom performances.
“You have to believe you are sexy to feel it,” she said. “It’s nothing to do with being stick thin or perfect-looking, it has to do with being happy. Any woman can look and feel great in their underwear,” she added.

Gotta love Victoria Beckham when she speaks so openly about herself and her image. If you think Victoria takes herself too seriously, you are completely wrong!!
The star, famed for her non-smiling facial expressions, admits she is often surprised by her miserable appearance in many pictures.
She says, “I think that’s just the way my face falls. But yeah, maybe, when I do see pictures, sometimes I think, ‘You miserable cow’.”

The Spice Girls say goodbye to their fans in one last concert of their reunion tour in Toronto, Canada. The concert was very emotional for the 5 girls and there were a lot of tears and hugs, demolishing the idea of a war between the girls.
I do believe this is the last time we are going to see the Spice Girls together on stage. Some of the girls fulfilled their wishes to have their kids on the same stage with them and overall the show was quite amazing.
The Spice Girls left this goodbye message on their official site:

Hello…
Our time is up… we’ve come to the end of the road… there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we’ve come!
Who would have thought that our reunion could have turned out to be this amazing? It just shows what can grow out of an exciting thought, an idea, a hope, a dream. Yes, our reunion tour is proof that dreams do come true.
We have been lucky enough to have shared it with the most loyal fans in the world. Ten years on, you came back still wanting more… and it looks like we made some new friends along the way. You have inspired and ignited us with each show, the 47 that we performed, each time was amazing and it is thanks to you.
So we look to the future with hope and imagination and let Girl Power live on through all of you as it will continue in us and the future generations to come.
We have learnt so much through you and through each other.

Victoria made sure it was a night to remember as she put on a show of raunchy dancing with one of the Spice’s backing dancers, dressed only in a black lace basque and matching lacy tights.
It was an emotional farewell, with Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Geri and Mel C gathering at the end for a group hug and individual embraces throughout the show.
An emotional Geri said: “I’ve just got to say, as you know, this is the last night of the tour and we never dreamt we’d ever back together and be such a success and who knows if we’ll ever get back together again.”
The Spice Girls closed the show with a rousing final performance of “Spice Up Your Life.”
That’s it Y’all… it’s the end of an era, The Spice Girls Girl Power Era!! They will be missed…

This is really sad news for some fans that were actually still hoping to see the Spice Girls in action. Well not this time but they still kinda hint some chance in the future for another reunion.
This is a little piece of the official statement from theSpiceGirls.com:

In the US the LA Daily News reported, “They may just be better than ever on this tour,” and that the tour “wasn’t a comeback at all, it was an upgrade”. The San Francisco Chronicle wrote, “The Spice Girls is the reunion that matters this year. Spice Girls prove they have staying power”. In the UK the Independent On Sunday commented, “Brassier, bolder and better than ever. This was a spectacular show.” The News Of The World claimed, “Those girls are STILL amazing on stage. What a show – everything all the mad fans could hope for after ten long years of waiting.”

Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!The girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”

But I think there won’t be much hope for another reunion, since Victoria Beckham just admitted she was the real reason for this abrupt end to the tour.
Victoria claims she wants to devote her time to be a fashion designer quitting the music industry for good. She won’t be really missed in music… she wasn’t much of a singer… I just think that if you agree to do a tour you have to do it!!
“I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls because I didn’t want to send out a confused message,” she admitted to Britain’s News of The World newspaper.
“The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mummy was a pop star once. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I’m not in the music industry any more. I’m in the fashion industry.”
“I’m putting together a team of people now so it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month. It’s the last opportunity there will be to see the Spice Girls together.” – Victoria reveals.
So it’s truly the end of an era… Spice Girls are over…

Emma Bunton, Baby Spice tumbled on stage in one of the Reunion Tour concerts in Las Vegas and hurt her ankle. For a fast recovery she was treated by David Beckham’s Doctor and had to wear a cast and crutche.
Now she is recovered and back on stage so the official Spice Girls site just decide they should make a competition out of it!!! Why not?? So here’s what they have to say…

The Spice Girls couldn’t resist bringing their bundles of joy on stage while singing their song Mama at London’s O2 Arena. The result was a beautiful moment between moms and kids that had their ears all protected from the noise levels on stage.
The Spice Kids are Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz (Beckham Kids), Phoenix Chi and baby Angel Iris (Scary’s Kids) and finally beautiful 4 months old baby Beau! Emma Bunton can’t keep her eyes out of the latest Spice Family member and yeah he is soooo cute! Congratulations to Emma and Jade!!
Geri’s daughter Bluebell was the only one not to make an appearance and that was probably cause of the chicken pox that caused some trouble on the begging of the Reunion Tour.
Only Melanie C doesn’t have a baby yet but she says that the clock is ticking and she would really want to be a mom specially after she had more contact with the Spice Kids.

After Baby Spice tumbled on stage in their last concert in Las Vegas and she had to attend the launch of the ‘Spice One’ plane in crutches, I didn’t think they would be back on stage so soon!
In spite of Emma not being fully recovered she gave her best on stage and she was spotted wearing much comfortable boots. The Spice Girls got great reviews too and the fans were totally wild in the O2 Arena in London.

They are doing so well and enjoying the reunion so much that there is a possibility to extend the tour and get more songs released! Yes please we want more Spice!!!

I guess we can say it’s true now and not just a rumor… Geri Halliwell, Ginger Spice while singing Spice Girls’ biggest hit Wannabe “Easy V doesn’t come for free. (points to Posh’s stomach) SHE’S PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!”
I don’t think that pregnancy is particularly appropriate… The Spice Girls are now just starting their reunion world tour and I hope for the sake of their fans they are not cancelling any show.
Anyway a new baby is always welcomed in the Spice world. Victoria and David Beckham already had 3 boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz so with a bit of luck they will get the so much desired girl. Congrats to the Beckhams!!!
